REVEREND T. JOSEPH MOYNIHAN, OF WATERTOWN AND BRIGHTON DIED ON JUNE 23, 2012.
BELOVED SON OF THE LATE MICHAEL J. AND JULIA (CASEY) MOYNIHAN OF BRIGHTON. BROTHER OF MARY KEEN AND JULIANNE BURKE, BROTHER-IN-LAW OF ARNOLD V. BURKE AND THE LATE ROBERT T. KEEN, ALL OF STOUGHTON. UNCLE TO EIGHT NIECES AND NEPHEWS. ALSO SURVIVED BY MANY COUSINS. FATHER MOYNIHAN WAS ORDAINED ON FEBRUARY 2, 1957 AND SERVED AT ST. MARGARET'S, SAUGUS, ST. BENEDICT'S, SOMERVILLE, ST. BRIDGET'S, FRAMINGHAM, ST. LUKE'S, BELMONT, CHAPLAIN AT THE NEWTON/WELLESLEY HOSPITAL AND ST. PHILIP NERI, WABAN. FORMER PASTOR FOR 22 YEARS AT ST. MARGARET MARY PARISH, WESTWOOD.
FATHER MOYNIHAN WILL LIE IN STATE AT ST. MARGARET MARY CHURCH, 845 HIGH ST. (ROUTE 109) WESTWOOD ON FRIDAY, JUNE 29TH FROM 4 TO 7 P.M. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL WILL BE CELEBRATED ON SATURDAY MORNING JUNE 30TH AT 11AM IN ST. MARGARET MARY CHURCH. INTERMENT AT EVERGREEN CEMETERY, BRIGHTON.
