As a lifelo0ng friend of Chris and her family I want to express my sympathy. I remember her as the captain of the cheerleaders in High school. We shared many an adventure over the past fifty years . Chris was very caring and thoughtful to all . I spent many holidays with Chris and Dick as well as time with them in Vermont as well as their place on the cape. You will not be forgotten. You are a perfect example that life is not always fair .Due to your love and dedication to Dick and Ryan I am sure they will carry on with support from family and friends .

My name is Jon Z Bowser and Mrs. Marden is my favorite and most beautiful teacher inside and out. Mrs Marden told me that she recognized me by my smile after not having seen me in over twenty years. I'll never forget her. She was what a teacher/person should be. I miss you.

My condolences to the family. I was just talking the other day with my mother about how the only teachers I really remembered were from Johnson Elementary School. I was fortunate enought have Mrs. Marden in Elementary School. I believe it was 1991-1992. The impact teachers have on children is so powerful and I remember loving being in her class. She was always nice and I enjoyed going to class. Mrs. Marden thank you for setting me on the right path and making me like school right from the start.

My sympathy to Dick and the rest of the family. Chris was a wonderful person who touched so many lives in a positive way. She was a class act and will be missed by all. I consider myself lucky to have had some contact with her through the years.

We were so sorry to hear about Mrs. Marden's passing. Our daughter, Michelle, had Chris in 1993 in kindergarten. What a wonderful entry in the Natick School system. Chris was warm and nurturing to our shy daughter and helped her to learn to participate. I remember "helping" out in class and being so grateful as I saw Chris work with each child's potential in her calm, caring way. I marveled at her creative lessons, her management of eager and sometimes not-so-eager five year olds, and her ability to make each feel special. We are so grateful that Michelle started with Chris that long time ago. She was a wonderful teacher and gift to children. Sincerely, Debbie and Tom Mandino
