As a high school classmate of Chris, and later in life, the mother of a daughter who was very fortunate to have Chris for her kindergarten teacher; I was saddened to learn of Chris's passing. My deepest sympathy to The Marden Family.

My name is Jon Z Bowser and Mrs. Marden is my favorite and most beautiful teacher inside and out. Mrs Marden told me that she recognized me by my smile after not having seen me in over twenty years. I'll never forget her. She was what a teacher/person should be. I miss you.

My condolences to the family. I was just talking the other day with my mother about how the only teachers I really remembered were from Johnson Elementary School. I was fortunate enought have Mrs. Marden in Elementary School. I believe it was 1991-1992. The impact teachers have on children is so powerful and I remember loving being in her class. She was always nice and I enjoyed going to class. Mrs. Marden thank you for setting me on the right path and making me like school right from the start.
